ReleaseBase v1.0.0 is here

We're excited to launch ReleaseBase, a platform designed to help developers write, manage, and distribute release notes. Here's what's available from day one.

  • Generate release notes from git commits.

  • Rich text editor with multiple documents per release for different audiences.

  • Public changelog page complete with SEO.

  • Automated distribution through Slack, custom webhooks, and a site embeddable widget.

  • Export documents to PDF, HTML, Markdown, and JSON.

  • Sync with GitHub to view and manage your commit history across releases.

  • Role based teams to collaborate on projects.

  • Create organizations to manage multiple projects across different areas and teams.

Getting Started

You can get started by signing up at releasebase.io/signup.

Create a new project, connect it to your GitHub repo, and start generating release notes from your commits. You can even skip the GitHub connection and use ReleaseBase just for writing, managing, and distributing your release notes.
