How do subscriptions work?

Subscriptions are attached to an organization, not a single user. This means you can own multiple organizations each with a different plan. Billing is handled through Stripe, and any of the organization owners can manage the subscription and payment method.

What happens to my projects if I downgrade?

Accepted Answer

Projects that exceed your new plan's limits are frozen, not deleted. You choose which projects to freeze and which to keep active. Existing release notes and project data will be untouched, but you won't be able to access or distribute your release notes under this project until it is reactivated. You can reactivate frozen projects by upgrading your organization to a plan with sufficient project limits, or by bringing your organization back within it's current limits by deleting excess projects

Can I switch between monthly and annual billing?

Accepted Answer

Yes, at any time from your billing settings. Switching billing interval and staying on the same tier or downgrading a tier will charge you as soon as the current billing period finishes. If you upgrade to a higher tier, you will be upgraded instantly and the remaining unused credit for your current period will be paid back to you.

Do unused AI-generated docs roll over?

Accepted Answer

No, the monthly AI generation allowance does not roll over. The usage is determined by the number of AI generations from the past 30 days.

Is there a free trial for Pro or Team?

Accepted Answer

There's no separate trial period — the Free plan itself has no time limit, so you can use it for as long as you like before upgrading. If you outgrow Free, upgrading is instant with no waiting period.

What payment methods do you accept?

Accepted Answer

All major credit and debit cards, processed securely through Stripe. We don't store your card details on our servers.

Can I cancel at any time?

Accepted Answer

Yes, cancel any time from your billing settings with no cancellation fee. You'll retain access to your current plan until the end of the billing period you've already paid for.
